I joined the work of managing Kent State University, School of Journalism and Mass Communication’s social media outlets including Facebook page, YouTube and some other social media platforms. My specialty is Chinese social media outlets. I was the manager of JMC’s social media presence in China, including Renren, Sina Weibo, and Youku. My skill includes content producing and writing, such as media releases, YouTube video editing, Enghish/Chinese subtitle translating, and so on.

Luoyang Evening News is a local newspaper of Luoyang city, China, which has over 150,000 subscribers. The Luoyang Newspaper Group is the first newspaper that started self-publishing in China, 1984. During my second internship at the local newspaper, I learned the skill of doing interviews and news writing.
My first internship at the local newspaper actually was quite shocking. I got to know how busy reporters really are, and their working routines. That's my first experience to understand media environment in China.
